Lorain Sunset Cruise

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please note that refunds are NOT available within 3 days of the trip. However, this trip can be transferred to another individual within 3 days of the trip.

Tickets are purchased at the risk of inclement weather. A refund will be issued if the Jet Express cancels the trip.

River Nature Tour

Cruise the shores of the beautiful Black River on an all-inclusive tour of Lorain’s waterfront areas. This two-hour excursion includes a tour of the river, harbor, and a pass by the historic Lorain Lighthouse. Learn about the wildlife that lives in your backyard, and maybe even catch a glimpse of a bald eagle! This cruise departs from the guest dock at Oasis Marinas at Port Lorain.

Water Taxi

Offered during Rockin’ on the River and other festivals/events, our Water Taxi provides a convenient way to travel between Black River Landing (BRL), Oasis Marinas at Port Lorain (OM) and The Shipyards (SY). This free service follows a strict route of OM →BRL → SY → BRL → OM that repeats from 6-11 p.m. on concert nights.

History Excursion

Cruise the Lorain waterfront and learn the importance the waterways played in the development of Lorain that began at the mouth of the Black River. This two-hour history tour will be narrated by a member of the Lorain Historical Society and will cruise past the Lorain Lighthouse and other historic landmarks. The excursion will view the waterfront harbor and continue on the riverfront past the sites of industrial giants, American Shipbuilding and United States Steel, to witness the rebirth of wildlife preserves on the Black River.

Lighthouse Tour

Offered in conjunction with the Lorain Lighthouse Foundation, this cruise involves a shuttle ride to and from the historic Lorain Lighthouse, as well as a tour of the structure’s interior. Learn about the history of the lighthouse as volunteers stand by to answer any questions you may have.

Lighthouse Sunset Wine Dinner

Organized by the Lorain Lighthouse Foundation and offered every Tuesday from June 21-September 13, 2022, this specialty cruise features a fantastic dining experience at the Lighthouse and a tour of the structure. The Dinner and wine pairings are provided by the Erie Steak & Seafood Co. Restaurant. To purchase tickets, call 440-984-1012.
