In January of 2022, the Lorain Port & Finance Authority in partnership with the City of Lorain and JobsOhio, commissioned a market study for three of its waterfront properties. Accordingly, the Lorain Port is seeking proposals from experienced, financially sound, and capable developers, or development teams for the future residential mixed-use redevelopment of the Black River Landing South Site, Boat Launch Site, and Pellet Terminal Site.
